New station works take a look back

Wandin’s fire fighters are looking for the finishing touches to decorate their $250,000 station upgrade.

The community has pulled together to work on extending the existing station to make more room for the town’s 50 CFA members and a new rescue truck.

Fire Station Extension Officially Opened

It has been a long time in planning but thanks to the support of its members, community and the Victorian Government, the extension of the Wandin Fire Station in District 13 was officially opened on Saturday, 5 March 2011 in front of a crowd of 180 people.
