Residents are advised that there are currently no fires in the Wandin area. Smoke from the Bunyip and Healesville fires may be blown by wind in to the town and surrounding areas over the next few days.

Please continue to be vigilant against the possibility of small spot fires, or suspicious activity over the coming days.

To report fires or anything else unusual, please stay calm, call 000 and stay on the phone until the operator has received all the information they require. The more information that can be passed on to the 000 operator will assist fire crews in locating and assessing the situation.
