Hot Fire Training
Yarra Valley Group recently participated in a 'hot fire' training exercise at CFA's South East Training Ground (SETG). See the photos here.

The SETG is a purpose-built facility at the corner of Thompsons Rd and Eastlink in Carrum designed to provide training for fire crews with real fires. The facility uses a combination of gas, petrol and jet fuel to simulate fires in various situations such as petrol stations, road accidents involving a fuel tanker and house fires with gas cylinders as well as several other props.
